My contours ripple
neatly combed by waters
gushes smooth
will soon be carried by the billows
miles away...
You sit there
gazing strongly
where in depths
I lie...
And again
you smile today.
I meet you here everyday
hoping that the stream
would flow back
someday...

Beauty.
I have never been good at comprehending or appreciating poetry, but this one.....simply GRIPPED me.
Loved this, especially the last line. Was beautiful.
Nice !
Reminded me of some of the lines in the song 'panchhi nadia pawan ke jhoke...'
It'll strike me the next time I goto Marina.
Loved this. Read it over and over again.
wowo Tulika very well written.. its indeed very beautifull..
Reminded me of that Narcissus myth from the alchemist (guess you'd posted that as well earlier)...
Heraclitus's "You cannot step twice into the same river." also came to mind :)
An interesting story/scenario conveyed via beautiful verse as always - great work !! :)
