Someday...

My contours ripple
neatly combed by waters
gushes smooth
will soon be carried by the billows
miles away...

You sit there
gazing strongly
where in depths
I lie...

And again
you smile today.

I meet you here everyday
hoping that the stream
would flow back
someday...

Reminded me of that Narcissus myth from the alchemist (guess you'd posted that as well earlier)...

Heraclitus's "You cannot step twice into the same river." also came to mind :)

An interesting story/scenario conveyed via beautiful verse as always - great work !! :)
